Lead Sales Engineer for Mining Solutions

We are looking for talented individuals who share our passion for change and excellence. As a Sales Engineer for the Northwest US Territory, you will play a vital role in our success. This position is crucial for driving the sales of our aftermarket mining product line within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales calls and engage with clients to promote our aftermarket parts, rebuilds, modernizations, and service offerings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships built on exceptional service.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to enhance market presence, creating compelling value propositions to differentiate our offerings.
  • Provide technical support and product education before and after sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales opportunities and prepare proposals.
  • Visit client sites to consult on equipment operations and assess replacement needs.
  • Maintain detailed account plans for key clients.
  • Manage expenses to align with budgetary targets while adhering to guidelines.
  • Regularly update CRM systems with relevant contacts, appointments, and sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with a minimum of 4 years in sales within the mining sector.
  • Proven experience in the mining equipment industry, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with approximately 70% of time spent visiting client locations.
  • Preferred residence in Salt Lake City or other major airport locations.
  • Coverage includes select accounts in various states, focusing on core mining territories and adjacent industries.
  • Direct experience and knowledge of these markets is advantageous.
