We are in search of a dynamic geological expert who can utilize their extensive mining expertise to enhance our rapidly expanding operations, establishing optimal practices for project oversight and scalable business methodologies to guarantee successful outcomes. This role will involve acting as a Mining Geoscientist, assessing the composition, structure, and various physical characteristics of mining sites, while coordinating effectively with both field and office teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Apply principles of physics, mathematics, and geological science in the exploration and assessment of site characteristics.
- Manage project controls, monitor model advancements, and create/update relevant mining models.
- Oversee cost management and reporting, scheduling, client billing, change orders, and supplier management.
- Collaborate directly with field and office leadership.
- Engage in all phases of the mining lifecycle, with a primary focus on exploration, design, ore quality, and environmental considerations.
- Conduct regular site operations while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Implement company policies and safety protocols, and meet with clients to address project requirements.
- Work alongside the engineering team to prepare plans, designs, resource evaluations, and timelines.
The ideal candidate will possess a diverse background and experience in the mining and extraction sectors. Familiarity with mining projects, site operations, and modeling is essential. A degree in geology is preferred. The role requires the ability to travel and relocate as needed. Proficiency in computer systems and software is crucial.
