Position Overview
As a key player in our Minerals and Metals Business line, you will be responsible for delivering innovative civil engineering solutions tailored to the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop cost-effective civil and site utility designs from initial concepts to detailed specifications, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Conduct site assessments, inspections, and prepare comprehensive reports on water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, grading, and earthworks related to mining operations.
- Serve as the engineer of record or discipline lead, guiding drafting and engineering teams in the creation of design documents, specifications, and cost estimates for civil projects.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical skills.
- Oversee construction administration tasks, including report generation and specification preparation.
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious execution of civil design activities, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Contribute to proposal development and business growth initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer registration in the United States, with active membership.
- Over 15 years of experience in civil infrastructure design, particularly within the mining and heavy industrial sectors, covering areas such as bulk earthworks, road construction, stormwater management, and utility services.
- Experience in municipal design is advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead design teams and engage with clients and regulatory agencies effectively.
- Familiarity with construction and contract administration is a plus.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
