The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in engaging with clients at an executive level, serving as a representative of the organization. This role is designated as hybrid.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver consultative services to both new and established accounts Independently introduce new services or collaborate as necessary Manage local or regional client accounts Oversee accounts generating a minimum of $1 million in revenue, with a collective revenue exceeding $3 million across all accounts Drive revenue growth within existing client accounts Oversee all aspects of accounts receivable in partnership with operations management Conduct regular stewardship meetings and ensure the accuracy and delivery of client-specific reports and information, while identifying trends and proposing solutions to market challenges Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure service expectations are met and engage senior management regarding account status and objectives Proactively address potential issues by communicating with management and executive teams to resolve concerns before they escalate Facilitate internal customer setup and coordinate external implementation processes Organize and participate in client meetings, ensuring relevant team members are involved Understand and meet mutually agreed standards set by the organization and clients Develop and maintain service instructions for accounts, communicating these to service teams Manage contract renewals and price adjustments in coordination with the appropriate teams Present information to clients in a structured and persuasive manner for contract renewals and service discussions Attend monthly account management calls and document updates and new service opportunities Adhere to company policies and procedures Maintain consistent attendance and comply with safety regulations during work hours Additional responsibilities may be assigned as neededREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven ability to balance customer focus with a results-oriented approach Familiarity with the organization’s services and completion of all relevant training modules Strong business acumen, coupled with enthusiasm and professionalism Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to foster relationships Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service Ability to work both collaboratively and independently Highly developed organizational, analytical, and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications and CRM softwareEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or marketing Demonstrated experience in management or supervisory roles Preferred training within the insurance, managed care, or related sectorsCOMPENSATION:
The organization utilizes a market-based approach to compensation, with salary ranges varying based on location and other factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions. Pay ranges may be adjusted as necessary.
Pay Range: $67,086 – $111,634
A comprehensive benefits package is available for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, and retirement plans.
