Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Services Assistant to join our team at Johnson Financial Group. As a key member of our sales support team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Financial Advisors, ensuring a high level of business professionalism and support that positively impacts profitable new business development, client referrals, and retention efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product and Service Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of Johnson Financial Group's products and services, and be able to articulate their full scope to clients and advisors.
  • Client Account Management: Establish new client accounts, initiate money market deposits, redemptions, check requests, facilitate wire transfers, and perform general account maintenance.
  • Trade Execution and Research: Research and handle client inquiries, enter trades when requested by clients and advisors, and accurately open, close, and maintain accounts within bank and vendor operating systems.
  • Client Relationship Building: Proactively schedule client appointments and meetings, identify and resolve client needs through ownership and consistent follow-through, and analyze data to recognize affinity groups and identify lead management opportunities.
  • Administrative Support: Accurately and timely prepare correspondence, documents, reports, proposals, and other administrative functions, including expense management and referral system reporting.
  • Marketing and Communications: Support advisors in marketing their business, including materials, events, and communications.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all activities remain compliant with policies and procedures of the broker-dealer.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred, and minimum 1 year working knowledge of financial markets. Work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Professional Licenses: Series 7 and 66 or equivalent preferred; otherwise, expected to obtain within 6-12 months of hire. Life and health licenses desired.
  • Skills: Strong internal and external communication skills, established ability to develop relationships with key business partners, expert customer service and time management skills, and proficiency in all MS Office Suite products.
