Position Overview

We are currently in search of a dedicated professional to join our finance team. This role involves applying accounting principles to evaluate financial data and generate comprehensive financial reports. Responsibilities include compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, while ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Oversee the company vehicle and employee purchase programs.
  • Handle fixed asset accounting, including monthly financial close activities, reconciliations, and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Process inter-company transactions and reconcile related balances.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, offering insights into financial performance.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies to maintain accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations by adhering to established policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support tax accountants by compiling necessary data and documentation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of month-end close activities related to fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Address inquiries from management regarding financial matters.
  • Identify inefficiencies in processes and contribute to enhancements for improved accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain customer and supplier master data.
  • Participate in financial audits, collaborating with external auditors to provide required information.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects related to financial analysis and process improvements.

Qualifications

Educational Background

Associate's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

0-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, particularly in accounts payable.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.

Work Environment

  • Office environment with climate control.
  • Exposure to manufacturing areas may require personal protective equipment.
