Senior Financial Accountant

Job Overview:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and transactions. This role involves organizing, securing, and maintaining all financial documents in compliance with established policies and procedures. The accountant will analyze and record financial data, ensuring proper classification and summarization of numerical information through the use of journals and ledgers. Responsibilities include preparing, maintaining, and distributing various financial reports, as well as completing period-end closing procedures as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of figures, postings, and documents.
- Organize and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Analyze financial information and prepare reports as needed.
- Ensure timely billing and reconciliation of accounts.
- Address and resolve outstanding accounts and vendor invoices.
- Prepare daily cash deposits and manage cash handling procedures.
- Document and communicate any cash variances appropriately.
- Administer cashier banks and contracts efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in arithmetic computations.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle phone communications with professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
