Role Summary

The Financial Analyst is tasked with overseeing the financial operations of the organization. Real Property Management Sterling depends on the Financial Analyst to exhibit leadership qualities, foster trust with property owners and tenants, and enhance confidence in our services by developing and implementing superior accounting practices.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and possesses excellent time management skills, with a keen understanding of prioritization. Driven by a commitment to outstanding customer service, the Financial Analyst is an effective communicator with strong negotiation abilities, capable of working independently while maintaining integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Payable, including vendor relations
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for clients
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for trust accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Generate annual 1099 forms
  • Collect overdue rents
  • Post monthly client statements to the owners' portal
  • Handle deposits and record rent payments in tenant ledgers
  • Assist the Leasing Agent and Property Manager with security deposit returns
  • Record fees to owner and tenant accounts
  • Prepare monthly distributions for owners
  • Document payroll transactions
  • Assist with phone inquiries
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
