Location: This role is based at a key military installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver operational, administrative, and maintenance support for various network systems, including IP and ATM networks, voice systems, and data management.
  • Administer and manage diverse computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide tier-two support to fellow technicians within the communications division.
  • Document procedures and generate reports to enhance existing processes or summarize data from testing phases.
  • Engage in meetings led by government or contractor representatives.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in telecommunications or networking.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and scripting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience with Western Range operations and troubleshooting system failures.
  • Knowledge of communications transport systems is a plus.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must possess or be able to obtain CompTIA's Security+ certification within six months of hire.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular hours as needed.
  • Must be eligible for a DoD Secret Security Clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
