Position Overview

Location: This position is based at a key military installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide a team of technicians responsible for the upkeep of both Launch Test Range System (LTRS) and non-LTRS communication infrastructures.
  • Coordinate daily operations with personnel, management, and government representatives to ensure seamless support for all activities.
  • Oversee the timely completion of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure that the team meets all training requirements and stays up-to-date with industry standards.
  • Prepare and present system status updates and briefings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with all relevant resources, management, and stakeholders to maintain effective communication regarding performance metrics and contractual obligations.
  • Enforce disciplinary measures in accordance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Manage special projects as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of leading effective meetings.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five years in a technical environment.
  • At least three years of leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements and represented personnel is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel locally as required.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours or weekends to meet project needs.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License is necessary.
