Position Location: This role is stationed at a key military installation and does not support remote work options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Range Systems Support (RSS) team, ensuring the timely execution and precision of critical tasks, including:
  1. Certification processes for launch operations.
  2. Management of procedural documentation, including review and editing.
  3. Training and qualification programs for operators and maintainers.
  4. Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO) and library management.
  5. Internal compliance inspection programs.
  6. Facilitation of updates and timely delivery of contract data requirements.
  • Lead investigations and analyses for operational issues and incidents.
  • Develop and periodically review departmental procedures and guidelines.
  • Conduct studies and analyses, preparing reports and presentations as needed.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality, efficiency, and responsiveness of enterprise solutions.
  • Manage staff scheduling, assignments, training, and development.
  • Support employees in resolving issues and interpreting company policies.
  • Ensure personnel are adequately trained and receive ongoing guidance to maintain high service standards.
  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders to ensure seamless information flow and compliance with performance requirements.
  • Oversee special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.
Essential Qualifications
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills with a strong potential for effective leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in organizing and leading productive meetings, with the capability to prepare clear directives and reports.
  • Adept at collaborating with various agencies to translate concepts into actionable programs.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers, peers, and subordinates.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on fostering group dynamics to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Exceptional time management skills, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in technical analysis or a related field, with at least three years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Experience in developing and implementing work processes, reports, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Professional, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with range subsystems, launch requirements, and maintenance concepts is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site inspections.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours or weekends as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.
