About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Age Teacher to join our Extended Day team at Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality child care services to our school-age children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging learning activities that promote cognitive, physical, and emotional development in children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and team to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and a smooth program.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; BA or AA in Education or related field preferred.
  • Coursework in child development and curriculum planning a plus.
