Field Sales Consultant - Building Solutions Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Field Sales Consultant specializing in building solutions to address immediate market demands. Ideal candidates will be self-driven, committed, and capable of delivering exceptional customer service while directly impacting the profitability of a multi-billion-dollar enterprise.

This role is field-based, focusing on customer engagement in a designated area. Essential tools such as a fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone, and laptop will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers and a designated customer portfolio, collaborating with branch associates to ensure satisfaction with our products and services throughout the entire process.
  • Identify and actively seek new business prospects to broaden the existing customer base, working alongside management to formulate sales strategies and target new accounts.
  • Engage in various tasks including product quotations and resolving issues.
  • Analyze competitive landscape within the territory, develop sales strategies, and communicate these strategies to management.
  • Continuously enhance sales techniques and product knowledge to maintain a professional presence in the field.
  • Document all sales activities in our internal Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce) for ongoing assessment of the new business pipeline and measurement of sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be results-driven, self-motivated, capable of timely task completion, adept at relationship building, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Proficient problem-solving, leadership, and listening abilities.
  • General digital literacy is required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and learn rapidly.

This position is eligible for commission, with an estimated total compensation range of $95,000 - $145,000+ annually.
