Role Summary:

As a Field Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to engage with clients by providing comprehensive product knowledge and accurate pricing details. You will manage orders and ensure timely follow-ups on deliveries, focusing on expanding sales with both new and existing clientele.

Key Duties:

  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships while enhancing demand within current accounts.
  • Boost sales by introducing additional product lines.
  • Generate leads independently and ensure thorough follow-up on company-provided accounts.
  • Initiate and oversee the sales process with prospective clients.
  • Offer guidance and support to customers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maximize profit margins while considering market dynamics and competitor positioning.
  • Negotiate contracts in line with established pricing protocols.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a strategic sales plan for your territory.
  • Prepare quotes and respond to complex bidding requests.
  • Participate actively in all sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to maintain customer credit compliance.
  • Effectively communicate all company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor sales metrics, distribution margins, and related performance indicators.
  • Report discrepancies and propose corrective measures to management on a regular basis.
  • Utilize pricing and order guides effectively.
  • Support promotional initiatives and value-added offerings.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, retail, or perishable food sales.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the seafood or protein industry.
  • Bilingual capabilities.
