Position Overview:
As part of our ongoing expansion, we are in search of enthusiastic and committed Counter Sales Representatives.

In this role, you will be tasked with delivering an exceptional customer service experience to all walk-in and phone customers.

The Counter Sales Representative will also ensure outstanding service to both internal and external clients at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
- Personally welcome each customer as they enter and maintain friendly engagement throughout their visit.
- At the point of sale, utilize suggestive selling techniques as appropriate and assist in resolving any issues.

- Manage orders for out-of-stock or special items, create purchase orders, handle transfers, and follow up with customers via phone until invoices are completed.

- Keep organized files and accurate records of all transactions, along with a precise cash drawer.

- Monitor inventory levels to ensure minimum stock is maintained and that the showroom is well-presented.

- Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely preparation of customer orders, upholding our commitment to excellent service.

- Actively seek new accounts through various methods and reconnect with previous customers by researching past client records.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Strong background in customer service is essential.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
- Capability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must work effectively as part of a team and be willing to work extended hours when necessary.

It is crucial to exhibit a positive and helpful attitude, along with a dedication to delivering top-notch customer service.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory. Availability to work weekends is required. While performing the duties of this position, employees may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment.

Employees may occasionally encounter extreme cold and heat conditions. The noise level in the workplace is moderately loud. Candidates should be able to tolerate varying temperature levels and occasional adverse driving conditions.
