Position Overview: As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and programs tailored to the manufacturing sector, while providing expert guidance to fellow HR Business Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships that embody the organization's culture, vision, and core values.
- Collaborate with the HR Leadership Team to align human capital initiatives with the overarching business strategy, facilitating change management and supporting organizational growth.
- Deliver strategic thought leadership and HR advisory services to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to legal standards and minimizing potential risks.
- Advise line management on critical areas such as coaching, career development, succession planning, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Design and implement HR strategies aimed at enhancing performance and achieving business objectives.
- Work closely with management to assess and prepare for future talent requirements, managing internal transitions and promotions effectively.
- Lead initiatives in change management, equipping managers and leaders with the tools to navigate organizational change successfully.
- Collaborate with Corporate Centers of Excellence (COEs) in areas such as leadership development, compensation, benefits, and staffing to advance organizational goals.
- Oversee and enhance the plant apprenticeship program.
- Provide administrative support for the HR performance management system.
- Engage in or lead specific projects as assigned, supporting the VP of Global Human Resources with metrics, reports, and various initiatives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive HR policies.
- Encourage and support learning and development opportunities across the organization.
Leadership: Act as a team leader, coordinating efforts, offering expert guidance, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; PHR certification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, adept at resolving complex employee relations matters and demonstrating progressive HR expertise.
- Proven ability to serve as a liaison among various HR functions, prioritizing key areas such as onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, talent assessments, succession planning, engagement, retention, and learning and development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational assessment, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and applicable employment laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with strong skills in spreadsheet and data management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and collaborative environment.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities.
