Job Overview
The HVAC Solutions Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving the growth and profitability of the HVAC Service sector. The selected individual will be tasked with initiating, developing, and nurturing profitable service relationships with new clients.
Key Responsibilities

The primary focus will be on promoting renewable maintenance agreements, which serve as the foundation for establishing these relationships. The representative will operate within a designated geographic area, collaborating with a local branch office and partnering with sales and operations teams.

Utilizing sales tools, the representative will plan and document sales progress while identifying business opportunities within existing accounts. A monthly target for obtaining and closing business is expected.

How You Will Achieve Success

Employ a structured and professional approach to identify, target, and qualify potential new clients. Leverage market conditions and effective networking to discover new leads and contacts.

Engage with prospective clients to schedule meetings and build a referral network for identifying new business opportunities.

Conduct sales meetings aimed at uncovering key issues and dissatisfaction faced by Facility Directors in managing heating, cooling, ventilation, and control systems.

Instill a sense of urgency in addressing client needs and position the company as the preferred supplier.

Propose tailored solutions to meet prospective clients' requirements through innovative applications of local branch service capabilities, emphasizing renewable maintenance agreements, digital service offerings, sustainability, and decarbonization.

Demonstrate an understanding of the client's business and communicate effectively in their terminology.

Finalize proposals with clients and secure their commitment to the company's solutions.

Facilitate customer kick-off meetings, address client concerns, create opportunities for additional services, maintain service agreements, and support the collections process.

Keep management updated on progress and account status using company tools and other communication methods. Recognize when to seek assistance from management to ensure the sales process remains on track.

Marketing and Representation

Develop and execute territory marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives. Participate in trade shows and engage with professional organizations.

Represent the company with professionalism, adhering to the highest standards of quality, integrity, and performance.

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in progressive sales roles
  • Technical aptitude with a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional presentation skills, capable of engaging both individuals and groups
  • Experience in selling services and intangible products
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Building HVAC Systems
  • Relevant experience in the field
  • Post-secondary education
