Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Development Executive to join our Capital Markets & Public Companies team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding key client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the capital markets ecosystem and a proven track record of building and growing relationships with investment bankers, public company executives, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and cultivating long-term relationships with investment bankers, public company executives, and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborating with DLA Piper attorneys to drive new client acquisition and expansion of existing client relationships
  • Managing key client relationships and connecting clients across the DLA Piper platform for cross-collaborative opportunities
  • Acting as the point person for the group's Underwriter and Public Company Outreach Campaigns
  • Serving as an ambassador for DLA Piper at major capital markets and public company programs and events
Requirements
  • 8 years of leadership experience in financial services
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Sales, Finance, Science, or Technology
  • Strong understanding of the capital markets ecosystem and market participants
  • Foundational knowledge of the legal and professional services sectors within the capital markets and public company ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow relationships at the C-Suite, board, and investment banking level
Preferred Requirements
  • 10 years of leadership experience in a business development/sales role, preferably from investment banking and/or capital markets/public company ecosystem
  • JD and/or MBA - highly desirable
