Business Development Executive Opportunity

MedInsight is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving business development strategy and executing on creating, developing, and closing large-scale solutions within a defined territory of named accounts.

This is a highly consultative sales role that requires a passion for rolling up your sleeves and taking action to get things done. You will work closely with the SVP of Sales and Growth, as well as peers and team members in the commercial organization, to achieve revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building and executing strategic territories, as well as a proven ability to create high-profit proposals and effectively close deals across multiple stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $194,000, depending on a combination of factors, including education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a certified expert on the entire MedInsight suite of products and solutions
  • Develop your national territory through research and outbound activity, aligned to the comprehensive MedInsight sales strategy
  • Qualify leads and map out potential contacts in your markets
  • Conduct outbound opportunity development through partnership with marketing
  • Convert prospect relationships in partnership with sales development resources through regular calls, emails, marketing efforts, and business development meetings with decision makers
  • Actively listen to prospects and clients; probe deeper to understand business needs and work to create solutions from the ground up
  • Achieve (and exceed) your annual sales quota

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree or the equivalent
  • Master's degree or MBA (preferred but not required)
  • Minimum 7+ years of full-cycle new business development in complex, consultative sales environments
  • Experience in building and executing strategic territories
  • Track record of building long-term relationships and multi-year contracts with VP, SVP, and C-suite decision makers
  • Expert in creating high-profit proposals and effectively closing deals across multiple stakeholders
