ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Compensation Range: $17.86

The Client Services Operations Support Representative I (SCA) is tasked with delivering administrative assistance and effectively managing high-volume transaction-oriented tasks for Performant's Healthcare Eligibility and Recovery Services operations. This position is full-time and requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, copying, filing, processing documents and mail, performing basic data entry, making phone calls, and operating general office equipment.
  • Handle incoming correspondence, including the posting of payments (checks, EFT, and debit/credit card).
  • Engage in phone communications with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to obtain payment information.
  • Enter data into various applications/systems as necessary for relevant workflows.
  • Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all company, departmental, and client policies, procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards and other assigned objectives.
  • Obtain and maintain any necessary client clearances for system/record access based on client and work assignments.
  • Complete assigned training promptly and with satisfactory scores, demonstrating comprehension of training materials and applying knowledge appropriately.
  • Fulfill additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word with occasional assistance.
  • Familiarity with general office equipment and adaptability to new tools.
  • Fundamental problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Capacity to quickly learn internal and client applications.
  • Fast and accurate typing and 10-key skills.
  • Basic math skills for calculations.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow up in a timely manner, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workload.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Able to prioritize daily tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of working efficiently both independently and collaboratively, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Dependable and reliable.
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some experience in a customer service or clerical role is required; one (1) year or more of related office clerical support experience is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and proof of such will be sought prior to hire.
