Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Wayfair. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate order pickers, reach trucks, and scanning equipment to locate and pick orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Monitor Order Management Systems: Proactively monitor order management systems to ensure that all orders have been received properly and that detailed descriptions are provided for any overage/shortage/damage issues.
  • Accurately Identify Units: Accurately identify units for storage or shipment, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
  • Work at Heights: Work at heights of 30ft and repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift.
  • Perform Additional Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, including but not limited to, cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities.
Requirements
  • Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years old, have a minimum of 6 months reach truck or cherry picker experience, and be comfortable with heights (30 ft.).
  • Physical Demands: Comfortably repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and move product 150+ lbs. unassisted or via team lift.
  • Communication Skills: Able to read and speak English for safety purposes.
