Our Spring Manor facility offers exciting opportunities for a Residential Caregiver.

As a Residential Caregiver, you will collaborate with a team to deliver comprehensive residential support and facilitate coordination of medical and rehabilitative services for adults residing in community-based housing programs.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position has one available shift:

  • Saturday-Sunday 8AM-6PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living according to their service plans
  • Coordinate resident needs, including medical appointments and therapy sessions
  • Accompany clients to appointments as necessary
  • Supervise medication distribution as required
  • Maintain resident records in compliance with agency and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide feedback to primary care providers and case managers regarding resident progress
  • Facilitate group activities and specialized events for residents
  • Offer immediate crisis intervention when necessary
  • Conduct one-on-one resident interactions weekly, as per individual service plans
  • Assist with admission and discharge planning as needed
  • Review daily logs and communicate any emergencies to staff
  • Maintain an updated checklist of client treatment plans for administrator review
  • Attend scheduled staff and community meetings
  • Monitor facility environment for visitor management and quiet times
  • Prepare meals for residents when the cook is unavailable
  • Lead assigned life skills development groups
  • Coordinate fire drills and resident orientation
  • Document progress notes within 7 days of activities
  • Commit to 12 hours of annual training and education
  • Ensure confidentiality of resident and staff information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current Food Handlers Permit
  • Legible handwriting
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to read and understand agency/member charts
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including holidays
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience in hands-on caregiving or willingness to receive specialized training
  • Ability to obtain a DSHS 75-hour training certificate within 120 days of employment
  • Capacity to perform job duties with reasonable accommodation
