Our Firwood location is currently seeking a Residential Caregiver.
As a Residential Caregiver, you will collaborate with a team to deliver comprehensive residential support and facilitate other medical and rehabilitative services for adults residing in community-based housing programs.

WORK SCHEDULE
We have one shift available for this position:
- Saturday-Sunday, 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM (20 hours)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living in accordance with their service plans.
- Coordinate resident needs, including assistance with medical appointments and therapy services.
- Accompany clients to appointments as necessary.
- Supervise medication distribution as required.
- Maintain accurate member records in compliance with agency, county, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide feedback to residents' primary care providers and case managers regarding resident progress and treatment plans.
- Facilitate group activities and specialized events for residents.
- Offer immediate crisis intervention and resolution when necessary.
- Ensure regular one-on-one contact with residents as outlined in individual service plans.
- Assist with admission and discharge planning as needed.
- Review daily logs and communicate any emergencies to fellow staff members.
- Maintain and update the administrator checklist for client treatment plans.
- Participate in scheduled staff and community meetings as assigned.
- Monitor the facility environment for visitors and maintain a calm atmosphere.
- Prepare meals for residents when the cook is unavailable.
- Lead life skills development groups.
- Coordinate fire drills and assist with resident orientation and room maintenance during move-ins and move-outs.
- Document progress notes in client charts within a week of each individual or group activity.
- Commit to completing 12 hours of annual continuing education and training.
- Uphold confidentiality for both residents and staff at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Food Handlers Permit.
- Active CNA or HCA license.
- Legible handwriting and basic math skills.
- Ability to read and understand agency and member documentation.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, to support clients.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for agency vehicle use.
- Experience in hands-on caregiving or willingness to undergo specialized training for the target population.
- Knowledge of caregiving fundamentals and ability to obtain additional training as required.
- Capability to perform job duties with reasonable accommodations.
