Key Responsibilities:

  • User Assistance: Address IT support inquiries through various channels, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Network Support: Assist with connectivity challenges, including Wi-Fi and VPN setups.
  • Remote User Support: Ensure remote users have secure access to necessary resources.
  • System Setup: Install and configure operating systems and applications, ensuring all security updates are applied.
  • User Account Management: Oversee user accounts and permissions across multiple systems.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation to support IT activities and solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside other IT professionals on projects aimed at enhancing IT services.
  • Asset Oversight: Assist in managing IT assets and inventory.
  • User Training: Conduct training sessions to improve user proficiency with IT systems.
  • User Advocacy: Represent user interests in discussions with other IT teams.
  • Consultative Support: Offer alternative solutions based on user needs.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in IT support or helpdesk environments.
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications.
  • Understanding of network protocols and basic troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and remote support tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous.
