Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Acquisition Analyst to assist in acquisition initiatives for our government clients, ensuring adherence to regulations and enhancing procurement processes. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of DoD acquisition policies and a proven history of managing intricate acquisition projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert analysis and support in formulating and executing Army/DoD acquisition strategies, plans, and programs.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of acquisition requirements, including market research, cost-benefit assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of documents necessary for Contract Requirements Packages (CRP), including market research, commerciality assessments, and the development of Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Justifications and Approvals (J&A).
  • Help coordinate and develop Data Requirements, such as Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) and Document Summary Lists (DSLs).
  • Create and monitor milestone schedules in line with Procurement Acquisition Lead Times (PALT) objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations concerning DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and regulations, including federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Track and report on the progress of acquisition projects, offering regular updates and suggestions to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including program managers and contracting officers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Stay informed about changes in acquisition policies and best practices, providing training and guidance to team members as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management to support the organization's overall mission and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in DoD acquisition, procurement, or contract management.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to conduct detailed evaluations of acquisition requirements and devise effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts to varied audiences.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and integrity, with the capability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Must possess an in-scope Secret security clearance.
