Supply Chain Coordinator

Position Overview: As a Logistics Associate, you will be instrumental in managing and refining our logistics activities. You will collaborate closely with carriers, clients, and internal teams to guarantee that all logistics processes are executed smoothly and effectively.
**This is an on-site position based at our facility.**
Compensation Package: $42,500-$55,000 Annually + Benefits
(Compensation is contingent upon experience and education)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage Logistics Operations: Responsibilities include spot quoting, routing, and updating rates to ensure timely and cost-efficient transportation solutions.
- Support Logistics Team: Assist the logistics department in daily tasks, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our logistics processes.
- Claims Management & Rate Negotiation: Address claims and negotiate rates with carriers to achieve optimal results and maintain robust relationships.
- Carrier & Client Relationship Management: Foster and sustain positive relationships with carriers and clients, serving as a key contact for logistics-related inquiries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside our Quality Assurance and Customer Service Departments to ensure service standards are met and exceeded.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Employ creativity and innovation to develop new processes and procedures that boost efficiency and service delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with couriers, office staff, and management to respond to requests and ensure service commitments are fulfilled.
- Education: A Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities, eagerness to learn about logistics/supply chain, and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Industry Insight: Familiarity with packaging materials and industry-specific products is advantageous but not mandatory.
