Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Order Management Specialist to join our EMEA Customer Fulfillment Team, which operates within the Global Supply Chain Operations. This role involves managing the complete order lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors, including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and municipal services.

In this position, you will oversee the entire order management process, from initial entry to delivery, ensuring effective communication with both customers and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate and timely order entry
  • Collaboration with production teams to schedule orders
  • Proactive communication to resolve potential issues
  • Management of customer inquiries and escalations
  • Training and mentoring new team members

Additionally, you will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency and improving service levels for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management:

  • Processing standard and complex orders
  • Addressing order-related challenges to ensure timely delivery
  • Managing special requests and maintaining professional communication with clients

Account Management:

  • Responding to customer inquiries to meet their expectations
  • Conducting root cause analysis to identify and address process gaps
  • Ensuring accurate customer data in our systems

Project Management:

  • Contributing to IT and operational projects
  • Leading initiatives for process improvements
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A university degree or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in order management or customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including Excel and Google Workspace
  • Experience with SAP systems
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
