We invite you to join our team as a Room Quality Supervisor at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa. This role is essential in upholding our mission of creating cherished memories while passionately representing our brand.

We seek a professional who embodies our mission, values, and culture. This individual should be driven to craft meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while ensuring the success and profitability of our unique offerings. The ideal candidate will be a blend of a curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail-oriented individual, mentor, and motivator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the cleanliness, appearance, and condition of rooms post-cleaning by housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to quality standards; identify and address quality issues.
  • Evaluate all electronic devices in rooms, including televisions, remotes, alarm clocks, and telephones, ensuring they are fully operational; promptly report any maintenance issues.
  • Verify that all entry locks on rooms function correctly.
  • Coordinate the annual deep cleaning process for rooms, ensuring all tasks are completed and standards are met.
  • Assess the cleanliness of public areas, ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained and addressing any quality concerns.
  • Analyze data, evaluate systems, products, and technology, and establish quality control protocols.
  • Ensure proper maintenance is performed to extend the lifespan of assets and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Assist in supervising housekeeping staff, fostering a fair and positive work environment.
  • Support management in evaluating, coaching, and training team members while performing special projects as required.
  • Ensure all tasks are executed safely and comply with company safety policies and relevant regulations.
  • Adhere to company protocols for addressing safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete necessary safety training and certifications.
  • Conduct training for housekeeping staff, both departmental and on-the-job.
  • Review cleaning supplies, investigate quality issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when orders are necessary.
  • Participate in required leadership training and development programs.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a room inspector in the hospitality industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills, including effective communication, leadership, planning, and organization.
  • Basic computer knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
