Corporate Event Sales Manager

Wedgewood Weddings & Events is seeking a skilled Corporate Event Sales Manager to drive sales initiatives and expand our market reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Formulate and execute a proactive sales strategy aimed at corporate, non-profit, and association events. Cultivate new business through networking and outreach.
  • Market Analysis: Perform comprehensive market analysis to pinpoint sales opportunities and comprehend client requirements.
  • Revenue Optimization: Enhance the utilization of event spaces during weekdays to boost revenue.
  • Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business and conduct site visits.
  • Proposal Development: Create customized proposals that address client specifications using Salesforce.
  • Reputation Management: Oversee online reputation by encouraging positive client feedback and addressing any negative reviews swiftly.
  • Event Coordination: Assist clients in the planning of events, ensuring all specifications are fulfilled.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and engage in cross-training within sales and event coordination.
  • Sales Performance: Consistently achieve or surpass sales objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong dedication to customer service and hospitality.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced settings.
  • Confidence in negotiation and closing sales.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or event management.

Compensation and Benefits:

We provide competitive salaries, bonus opportunities, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.

Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000 annually

Quarterly Bonus: $2,400

Employment Type: Full-Time, eligible for benefits
