Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Account Manager to join our team at AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our national accounts, identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic account plan to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national account customers, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to improve their experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Cencora's products, services, and pharmaceutical distribution operations to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities to differentiate Cencora's offerings.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of customer invoicing, payment terms, collections, and customer payment history to assist Accounts Receivable as needed.
  • Travel quarterly to visit customers, attend industry events, and participate in sales meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
