Airline Account Manager

Sabre is a leading technology provider to the global travel and tourism industry. As a key player in the industry, we are seeking a highly skilled Airline Account Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the account relationship with strategic Airline partners in the NAM region, with a focus on a TOP 10 Account. This will involve developing and maintaining a solid and trusting relationship between the strategic Airline account(s) and Airline IT Teams.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of related experience with Airline IT and Distribution or working with a vendor that directly serves large airline customers. A Bachelor's degree and proven success in sales, business development, product marketing, or related field are also required.
The position will require travel to customer sites and industry events as needed. The successful candidate will be able to develop positive and influential relationships, and have a strong understanding of the current product portfolio and benefits of specific products for each Airline partner.
The Airline Account Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing strategies and processes to ensure continuous prospecting activities and pipeline development for key prospective clients
- Identifying, qualifying, and facilitating strategic customer sales opportunities to generate sales bookings that meet or exceed assigned goals
- Exercising leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills and forecasting abilities
- Resolving strategic accounts(s) issues and complaints
- Managing communications between strategic account(s) and internal Sabre Teams
- Retaining and growing existing market shares and revenues
The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, working closely with Revenue Operations to get business cases approved for renewal and development of market share. They will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of understanding of the current product portfolio and benefits of specific products for each Airline partner.
