Position Title: Stadium Events Manager

Employment Type: Continuing Position
Salary: $19.05/hr
Work Schedule: Varies based on event needs

Overview:
This role is designed for an individual who will oversee all operational aspects of events held at the Tumwater School District Stadium. The position is part-time and requires flexibility to work during scheduled events throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper setup of stadium facilities for events, including the management of access points and equipment.
  • Oversee crowd control and player management to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies necessary for the effective operation of the stadium.
  • Ensure the security of the venue, including monitoring lighting, access points, and alarm systems.
  • Report any safety or operational hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Safeguard district property against loss or damage.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Occasional Duties:
  • Assist in troubleshooting minor issues with stadium systems such as lighting and sound.
  • Monitor the operation of heating, electrical, and plumbing systems, reporting any malfunctions.
  • Keep accurate records and submit reports as required.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • Dependable and punctual, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Possess a valid Washington State Driver's License.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds.
