Position Title: Stadium Events Manager
Employment Type: Continuing Position
Salary: $19.05/hr
Work Schedule: Varies based on events
Overview: This role is essential for overseeing all aspects of events held at the Tumwater School District Stadium. The position is part-time and operates primarily during scheduled events, compensated through timeslips.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper setup of stadium facilities for events, including unlocking doors and managing equipment.
- Oversee crowd and player management to ensure safety and compliance with stadium regulations.
- Maintain inventory of supplies necessary for stadium operations and communicate needs to the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
- Monitor security measures for the stadium, including lighting, doors, and alarms.
- Report any safety or sanitation issues to the appropriate department.
- Implement effective safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Protect district property from loss or damage.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Occasional Duties:
- Address minor technical issues with stadium systems, such as the scoreboard and PA system.
- Monitor heating, electrical, and plumbing systems, reporting malfunctions as necessary.
- Keep accurate records and submit reports as required.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Dependable and punctual, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Possession of a valid Washington State Driver's License.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds
