Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, the Nursing Unit Supervisor is responsible for providing direct oversight of nursing activities within the unit, ensuring that patient care is both comprehensive and of the highest quality.

This role involves assisting in the daily management of unit operations, focusing on clinical oversight, resource management, patient flow, quality assessment, and improvement initiatives. The Nursing Unit Supervisor plays a key role in fostering patient, staff, and provider satisfaction while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, staff education, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the recruitment and evaluation of nursing staff as directed by the Nurse Manager.
- Oversee clinical and resource utilization to enhance patient throughput.
- Engage in quality assessment and improvement efforts to elevate care standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse License in Washington upon hire.
- Certification in National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience within the last 5 years.
