Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations at Earth Friendly Products. This role is essential in managing production lines to align with our operational goals while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Leading Production Teams: Oversee and guide all production staff, implementing lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Quality Control: Ensure proper labeling, filling, and packaging of products throughout the production process.
  • Resource Management: Confirm that each production line is equipped with the necessary tools and materials for effective operation.
  • Changeover Management: Supervise product changeovers, ensuring that all line stations are prepared with the correct equipment and personnel.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Identify and report any machinery or equipment issues to the Plant Manager promptly.
  • Sanitation Oversight: Ensure all equipment is cleaned as needed and that sanitary standards are upheld.
  • Maintenance Duties: Conduct basic maintenance tasks, including routine preventive maintenance and repairs, based on your skill level.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in a production setting, utilizing KPIs and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Experience in environments focused on continuous improvement and performance measurement.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Capability to perform routine machine maintenance and basic repairs.
  • Physical ability to lift various items safely.
  • Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple production lines effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A keen attention to detail with the ability to understand and follow instructions.
