Business Administration Director

City Wide Facility Solutions is in search of a Business Administration Director to lead our operational initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will manage all facets of our business functions to guarantee optimal performance and effectiveness. This role encompasses leadership over various internal departments: Accounting, Human Resources, Training and Development, and Office Administration. It is essential to empower your team to foster a responsive administration that backs our Operations and Sales divisions as we strive for client retention and growth. You will be tasked with cultivating a positive workplace that embodies our core values and vision. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, KPI analysis, strategic planning, employee and customer retention, budgeting, staffing, and achieving company objectives aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating and executing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Assessing and interpreting financial performance
- Managing and optimizing vendor partnerships
- Collaborating with cross-departmental teams to promote business growth
- Leading and mentoring a team of administrative professionals
Financial Management Responsibilities
The Business Administration Director will hold comprehensive financial management duties, including the review and endorsement of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and metrics. You will oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow management, and coordination of audit processes, as well as accounts payable and receivable. A critical aspect of this role will be to gather essential data and processes to collaborate with the leadership team, aiming to enhance our internal operations and improve revenue.
Administrative and Operational Responsibilities
This position will act as a strategic partner to the GM/Owner concerning the organization's administrative and operational frameworks, with a focus on continuous improvement of systems. You will conduct annual evaluations and benchmarking of our General Liability/Workers Compensation insurance and benefits programs (health, retirement, disability, etc.).
Additionally, you will assess and enhance City Wide's information technology infrastructure, implementing innovative technologies to support essential capabilities required for future expansion. You will also assist the GM/Owner in the application of the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) Model and take the lead on this initiative.
Human Resources Responsibilities
The Business Administration Director will collaborate with the GM/Owner and the leadership team to conduct necessary due diligence to preserve our culture while integrating new talent into our organization. You will be responsible for maintaining budgeted staffing levels, continuously refining the training program, ensuring consistent accountability among all team members, and managing external interactions related to the Department of Labor (unemployment claims, employment verification, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in business administration or operations management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business software
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
