Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Executive will strategize and execute the sales plan for the Chronic business segment, ensuring alignment with the overarching objectives of Option Care Health. This role entails overseeing sales, marketing, and business development initiatives within the designated geographic area. Close collaboration with fellow Regional Sales Executives and the Vice President of Chronic Therapy Sales is crucial for effective planning and coordination. The Regional Sales Executive will also partner with various sales teams and essential support functions to enhance service delivery and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed all sales performance and activity targets for the assigned geographic area.
  • Mentor, train, and lead the chronic therapies sales team.
  • Formulate and oversee the execution of the chronic therapies sales strategy.
  • Effectively allocate resources, including staffing and budget, to support key initiatives.
  • Actively participate in the chronic business sales leadership team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights from the field.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new members of the chronic therapies sales team within the designated area.
  • Maintain a strong presence with the sales team through field visits and participation in regional meetings and conferences.
  • Foster team spirit and motivation to maximize chronic sales impact through effective communication.
  • Enhance the sales presentations of the chronic therapies team and exemplify success in generating new business.
  • Work with the Market Access team to identify and implement opportunities for growth.
  • Build robust relationships with branch management to ensure alignment between sales efforts and operational capabilities.
  • Collaborate with acute therapies sales leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the area to leverage their influence.
  • Establish partnerships with targeted physician practices to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead the recruitment and management of Advisory Board Members in the region.
  • Work collaboratively to develop and implement strategies for the Ambulatory Infusion Suite.
  • Engage with Professional Medical Societies to create strategies that yield business results.
  • Identify and foster relationships with Patient Advocacy groups to enhance business performance.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of market conditions and complex disease states relevant to Option Care Health's services.
  • Provide insights into the compensation structure for the chronic therapies sales team.
  • Oversee sales team activities to ensure focus on priority accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines among team members.

Supervisory Duties:

This position includes supervisory responsibilities, such as hiring, performance evaluations, and team management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in office-based physician sales leadership, demonstrating a successful track record,

OR

  • High school diploma with at least 6 years of recent experience in office-based physician sales leadership, showcasing a proven record of success.

  • Ability to lead and expand a high-volume, high-value business.
  • Leadership qualities that foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Expertise in analyzing sales data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills in cross-functional team settings.
  • Experience in building long-term relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders.
  • Understanding of financial management, including P&L oversight.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings is required.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time for business purposes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in Business Administration with a minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
  • Prior experience in home healthcare.
  • Involvement in task forces or initiatives demonstrating impact beyond immediate responsibilities.
  • Background in selling to Neurology, Gastroenterology, or Allergy/Immunology specialties.
  • Familiarity with billing and reimbursement processes for medical practices and hospitals.
