Position Overview

The Regional Manager of In-Flight Catering Operations is tasked with the oversight of daily catering logistics and the management of supplier performance within their designated area. This role collaborates closely with the Executive Chef of Quality & Standards to enhance and implement a comprehensive inflight catering supply chain strategy, aiming to elevate the In-Flight Dining experience from inception to delivery. The Regional Manager will focus on continuous improvement in processes, standards, and training alongside the Executive Chef, ensuring seamless execution across the supplier network from kitchen preparation to delivery for our Owners and Crewmembers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee regional management of all catering suppliers within assigned territories.
  • Develop and enforce procedures to guarantee quality control and consistency throughout daily operations and the entire supply chain.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including training, compliance, auditing, coaching, and development, providing on-site support as necessary.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the aviation catering food and beverage supplier market, proactively identifying efficiencies related to products and ingredients necessary for executing the In-Flight Dining mission, which focuses on delivering exceptional cuisine and dining experiences.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the In-Flight Dining program, fostering positive relationships within the supplier network to enhance accountability and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to assess product delivery for consistency, considering aesthetics, presentation, quantity, and more.
  • Utilize analyzed data and a defined strategy to provide proactive feedback to suppliers based on established requirements and expectations set by the Executive Chef.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality is required.

Experience

4-6 years of relevant experience is preferred.
