Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Executive will strategize and execute the Chronic business sales framework that aligns with the overarching objectives of Option Care Health. This role encompasses the management of sales, marketing, and business development initiatives within the designated geographical territory. Close collaboration with fellow Regional Sales Executives and the Vice President of Chronic Therapy Sales is essential for effective planning and coordination. A significant focus will be on teamwork with other sales divisions and key support functions. The Regional Sales Executive will also partner with Option Care Health Operations to address customer service challenges and ensure the delivery of exceptional service while driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed all sales performance and activity targets by therapy within the assigned region.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop the chronic therapies sales team.
  • Formulate and oversee the execution of the chronic therapies sales strategy.
  • Plan, forecast, and allocate regional resources effectively, including staffing, budget, and key initiatives.
  • Actively participate in the chronic business sales leadership team and other cross-functional groups to provide insights from the field.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard the chronic therapies sales team within the designated area.
  • Maintain a strong presence with the chronic therapies sales team through field visits and participation in regional meetings/conferences.
  • Foster team spirit and enthusiasm to maximize the impact on chronic sales through effective communication.
  • Enhance and refine the sales presentations of the chronic therapies sales team, leading by example in generating new business.
  • Collaborate with the Market Access team to identify and implement regional pull-through opportunities.
  • Build robust relationships with branch management to ensure alignment between sales efforts and branch capabilities.
  • Work alongside acute therapies sales leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the region to strategically leverage their influence.
  • Establish partnerships with targeted physician group practices.
  • Lead the recruitment and management of Advisory Board Members within the region.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement the Ambulatory Infusion Suite strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Professional Medical Societies in the region to drive business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities and develop connections with targeted Patient Advocacy groups to enhance business results.
  • Monitor regional trends, including industry, market, competitor, and sales dynamics to formulate effective sales strategies.
  • Exhibit expertise in the unique market dynamics of the region and the complex disease states served by Option Care Health.
  • Provide input into the compensation structure for the chronic therapies field sales team.
  • Oversee and manage sales team activities to ensure focus on priority accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all Option Care Health policies, procedures, and guidelines among all employees in the region.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position includes supervisory responsibilities, such as hiring, recommending promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.

Basic Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in office-based physician sales leadership with a proven track record of success,

OR

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 6 years of recent experience in office-based physician sales leadership with a proven track record of success.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on coaching and developing talent.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and expand a high-volume, high-value business.
  • Motivational and leadership skills that foster a positive work environment encouraging team collaboration.
  • Expertise in analyzing sales data to identify trends and drive performance improvements.
  • Leadership capabilities when collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in building long-term relationships with high-potential accounts and key opinion leaders.
  • Understanding of financial management (P&L oversight).
  • Candidates must successfully pass background checks and drug screenings.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time for business purposes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in Business Administration with at least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
  • Previous experience in home healthcare.
  • Participation in task forces or initiative teams demonstrating impact beyond immediate responsibilities.
  • Background in selling to Neurology, Gastroenterology, and/or Allergy/Immunology specialties.
  • Understanding of billing and reimbursement processes for medical offices and hospitals.

Compensation:

Salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. Pay range is competitive.
