Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at National Maintenance Contractors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily maintenance of our facilities and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers at multiple work sites engaged in janitorial services.
  • Assign janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.
  • Inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
  • Confer with and coach staff to resolve production and personnel problems.
  • Train workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.
  • Issue janitorial supplies and equipment to workers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
  • Ensure clients are satisfied with the current performance of the team.
  • Complete regular quality inspections of assigned accounts and act appropriately based on results of the quality inspections.
  • Hold regular feedback conversations with staff to discuss performance and development goals.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees by enforcing the company's safety, recognition, and training programs.
  • Handle administrative duties of assigned accounts, including timekeeping, documentation of employee performance and safety, and maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in a commercial cleaning or similar environment.
  • Experience in a mobile management role.
  • Ability to work in a medical environment and work independently.
  • Valid driver's license/good driving record.
  • Able to lift up to 30lbs.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Prefer experience working with a diverse population.
  • Bilingual in two or more languages, with English being one of those languages.
