Sales Development Manager, AfroTech

Blavity, Inc. is a pioneering media and technology organization dedicated to empowering Black millennials to share their narratives. Our extensive portfolio encompasses platforms such as AfroTech, 21Ninety, and Travel Noire. We are in search of a seasoned Sales Development Manager to become a vital part of our AfroTech Sales team, focusing on cultivating partnership opportunities with advertisers and sponsors. Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture robust client relationships through both virtual and face-to-face interactions.
  • Promote AfroTech services to prospective clients while cross-selling additional offerings.
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives and serve as the primary liaison for clients.
  • Identify and pursue new avenues to enhance revenue and finalize business deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Achieve or surpass monthly revenue targets consistently.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing/Sales is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in media and/or experiential sales.
  • Proven experience in securing business with Fortune 500 companies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual with outstanding communication abilities.

This position is fully remote and based in the U.S., with occasional travel required. The annual salary range is $80,000 - $90,000 plus commission.
