Position Overview:
The University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Developmental Pediatrician to join the Divisions of General Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology.

Role Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will deliver direct outpatient neurodevelopmental clinical services at the University Developmental Assessment Clinics (UDAC), which includes the Child Development Program, as well as within the Division of Pediatric Neurology.

This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team comprising developmental pediatricians, nurse practitioners, speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, registered nurses, psychologists, and pediatric neurologists. Together, they will conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for children who are experiencing or are at elevated risk for developmental challenges and neurological issues.

Clinical and Academic Expectations:
Clinical activities will take place at various Primary Children's Hospital locations. In addition to clinical duties, the position includes academic responsibilities such as education, research, and administrative tasks, along with advocacy for children with special health care needs.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics, with substantial experience in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents, particularly those with developmental disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. An academic appointment will be offered based on the candidate's experience level.
