About Us:
As Utah's premier Orthopaedic group, we specialize in a wide range of conditions, including joint reconstruction, sports medicine, pediatric orthopaedics, and more. Our clinics are designed to foster expertise through ongoing education, training, and innovative research.

Position Summary:
This role is situated within our bustling Pediatric Orthopaedic clinic, focusing primarily on static diagnostic X-rays. There is no requirement for operating room duties or extensive fluoroscopic examinations.

Location:
The position may involve travel to various clinics within the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct X-ray procedures efficiently while minimizing patient exposure.
  • Assist in patient positioning and transfers.
  • Manage patient check-ins and order inputs using iCentra and EPIC systems.
  • Utilize specialized equipment, including the EOS machine and mini C-arm.
  • Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies.
  • Perform quality control by critiquing radiographs and images.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed to prevent excessive radiation exposure.
  • Monitor patient vital signs as needed during examinations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Participate in training and orientation for new staff or students.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms with required supplies.


Qualifications:
Required:
  • Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential or commitment to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Valid license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah.
  • ARRT Registration as a Radiologic Technician R.T. (R) (ARRT).


Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to provide care tailored to the patient population.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in selecting appropriate imaging techniques and troubleshooting.
  • Flexibility to prioritize tasks according to physician needs.


Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position with no night, weekend, or on-call shifts required. Weekly hours range from 5 to 19.
