Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director who is passionate about leading a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional services to young women in a non-secure intensive residential setting. This program addresses the complex mental health challenges faced by girls who have experienced trauma. Our goal is to reduce risk factors, enhance protective elements, and support these young individuals in navigating the juvenile justice system towards positive outcomes and meaningful societal contributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial management within the established budget; analyze financial reports to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate on resource development initiatives, including grant writing and donor engagement, while upholding AMIkids values.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders and Board Members, acting as the program's representative.
  • Design and execute a robust marketing and branding strategy to effectively promote the program and drive fundraising efforts.
  • Direct program operations and fundraising activities to support both the growth of the existing program and regional expansion.
  • Lead the administration of program operations to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and AMIkids standards.
  • Foster a culture of quality through strategic objectives, evaluating service delivery based on outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members, ensuring effective workforce development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a leadership capacity.
  • Two years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record in managing events and securing major gifts.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with effective time and project management abilities.
