Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer who is passionate about leading a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional services to young women in a non-secure intensive residential setting. This program is designed for girls facing significant mental health challenges due to traumatic experiences. Our mission is to reduce risk factors, enhance protective elements, and guide these young women through the juvenile justice system towards successful, stable futures and meaningful societal contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial management within the approved budget; analyze financial reports to identify trends and discrepancies,
- Collaborate on resource development initiatives, including grant writing and donor engagement; strive to maintain a diverse donor base aligned with AMIkids values,
- Build and sustain partnerships with stakeholders and Board Members; act as the primary liaison for the program,
- Design and execute a robust marketing and branding strategy to effectively promote and fundraise for the program within the community,
- Direct program operations and fundraising activities to support the growth of the existing program and regional expansion while managing debt,
- Lead the administration of program operations to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and AMIkids' standards,
- Foster a culture of quality through strategic goals, evaluating service delivery based on outcomes and client satisfaction, and recognizing team member contributions,
- Manage the recruitment, hiring, and training of team members; oversee work assignments, performance evaluations, and professional development; address complaints and resolve issues.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred,
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, including at least two (2) years in a leadership role overseeing a team,
- Two (2) years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record in managing special events and securing major gifts preferred,
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), along with effective time and project management abilities.
