Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer who is passionate about leading a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional services to young women in a non-secure, intensive residential setting. This program is designed for girls facing significant mental health challenges due to traumatic experiences. Our goal is to reduce risk factors, enhance protective factors, and support these young women within the juvenile justice system to achieve stability and make meaningful contributions to society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial management within the approved budget; analyze program financial reports and take necessary actions to address trends and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate on resource development initiatives, including grant writing and donor engagement; strive to maintain a diverse donor base aligned with AMIkids values.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with stakeholders and Board Members; act as the primary liaison for the program.
  • Design and execute a robust marketing and branding strategy to enhance community awareness and fundraising efforts.
  • Direct program operations and fundraising activities to support the growth of the existing program and regional expansion while managing financial obligations.
  • Lead the administration of program operations to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and AMIkids standards.
  • Promote a culture of quality through strategic objectives, evaluating service delivery in terms of outcomes and client satisfaction, and recognizing team member contributions.
  • Manage the recruitment, hiring, and training of team members; oversee work assignments, performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development; address team member concerns and resolve issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, including at least two (2) years in a leadership role managing a team.
  • Two (2) years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record in managing special events and securing major gifts preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), along with effective time and project management abilities.
