Financial Employment Case Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Employment Case Manager plays a crucial role in supporting individuals enrolled in Wisconsin Works (W-2) and related programs. This position involves assessing client needs and connecting them with essential services to promote self-sufficiency.

COMPENSATION:
  • Hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $23.00 based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct personalized assessments with applicants to identify immediate needs and facilitate access to relevant services.
  • Evaluate and verify eligibility for W-2, Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA), and Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) by collecting necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to create Employability Plans, setting clear employment goals and outlining actionable steps.
  • Identify and address barriers to participation in employment programs, providing guidance and referrals to appropriate resources.
  • Work alongside Employment/Career Consultants to assign participants to activities that enhance employability, ensuring compliance with federal Work Participation Rate requirements.
  • Monitor participant progress and attendance, maintaining accurate records and ensuring engagement in assigned activities.
  • Establish ongoing communication with participants to support job retention and address any challenges that arise.
  • Ensure adherence to W-2 policies and contractual obligations through timely responses to monitoring reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with database systems, demonstrating a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours.
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with two years of post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • At least two years of experience in case management, social services, or workforce development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to meet performance goals.
  • Experience in providing support to participants in achieving vocational and educational objectives.
  • Ability to navigate complex service delivery systems and maintain confidentiality of participant information.
