Position Overview:

This senior role is focused on collaborating with physician leaders and specialty chairs to create and implement effective physician recruitment strategies. The position requires a deep understanding of the complexities involved in the physician search process and the specific needs of various medical facilities and regions. Responsibilities include crafting marketing materials, advising on candidate interview techniques, and regularly presenting performance updates to key groups.

Furthermore, this role entails extensive outreach at both regional and national levels to medical schools, physician associations, and professional conferences. This includes organizing events such as meet and greets, dinners, and community forums with physician leaders and potential candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster self-development and encourage learning among peers by sharing information, resources, and expertise; building relationships with stakeholders; influencing through clear technical communication; adapting to changing demands; and responding to feedback constructively.
  • Support business-specific projects by applying expertise in the field; developing work plans to align with business priorities; ensuring compliance with procedures; coordinating resources effectively; and collaborating across functions to make informed business decisions.
  • Lead candidate sourcing efforts by establishing targeted sourcing strategies for open positions; engaging in proactive search activities; refining search tactics based on outcomes; and analyzing candidate flow to enhance future recruitment efforts.
  • Oversee candidate screening and selection for senior-level positions by assessing applicant qualifications; conducting interviews; and managing the qualification process through reference checks and interview coordination.
  • Generate and analyze recruitment reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in the hiring process.
  • Provide consultation on recruitment and hiring practices to management; research employment regulations; and advise on recruiting policies and procedures.
  • Engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process by serving as the primary point of contact; providing information about the organization and recruitment process; and facilitating a positive candidate experience.
  • Implement talent acquisition strategies by developing sourcing plans that align with EEO goals; executing action plans; and improving recruitment processes and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
  • At least three (3) years of experience in clinical healthcare or biotech recruitment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science, Public Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of five (5) years of recruitment experience. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three (3) years of experience specifically in physician recruitment.
  • Three (3) years of experience in healthcare recruitment focused on sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for clinical roles.
