Project Coordinator Job Description

InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing large-scale commercial flooring projects from the bid process to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Direct each step of commercial flooring projects, focusing on detailed communication and ensuring timely completion.
  • Team Management: Manage project coordinators and collaborate with other departments to improve efficiencies.
  • Proposal Development: Work closely with sales teams to calculate, compile, and submit customer proposals within required timelines.
  • Schedule Coordination: Manage expectations and coordinate critical schedules with all necessary personnel.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly and proactively with field superintendents and labor managers regarding customer requirements and installation details.
  • Job Status Updates: Update sales, operations, and accounting departments on job status.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer satisfaction throughout the process and at the completion of every job.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in construction-related project management.
  • Skills: Great attention to detail, time sensitivity, and efficient follow-up. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, versatility, and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong computer skills and adaptability to different software platforms. MS Office 365 required. Experience in Procent or Acumatica a plus.
