Key Responsibilities:

The primary role of a Lead Sales Executive involves securing contracts for Tradesmen's offerings. This position requires proactive engagement with contractors to convey the unique value Tradesmen International provides.


Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and expanding sales initiatives.
  • Surpassing sales targets established by the organization.
  • Effectively communicating client requirements to the operations team.
  • Generating leads and identifying potential clients.
  • Conducting direct sales outreach and presentations at client locations.
  • Educating prospects on the correlation between a skilled variable workforce and enhanced productivity and profitability.

Additionally, the Lead Sales Executive will:

  • Onboard new clients in alignment with the business strategy and inform them about the advantages of partnering with Tradesmen.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments from clients, personally delivering initial invoices to establish a reliable payment routine.
  • Participate in industry-related networking events and contribute to association committees.
  • Foster additional sales through robust client relationship management.
  • Conduct follow-ups with clients to nurture relationships, initiate orders, and ensure ongoing utilization of Tradesmen's services.

Building and maintaining strong connections with senior management, office staff, and job site supervisors is crucial. This includes:

  • Regular visits to client sites and proactive communication to address any issues or complaints.
  • Delivering periodic evaluations of field employees to clients.
  • Proactively managing field employee relationships to encourage additional sales.

Furthermore, the Lead Sales Executive will:

  • Prepare field employees for client assignments and accompany them on their first jobs.
  • Maintain awareness of field employee assignments and address any issues promptly.
  • Support the sales process by managing and sharing relevant information.
  • Keep accurate client sales records.

Participation in required meetings, including one-on-one sessions with management, operational discussions, and sales training, is essential. The role also involves completing weekly sales activity reports and presenting future plans to management.


Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in outside sales.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Proven track record in building strong client relationships.
  • Ability to establish rapport with field employees.
  • Self-driven and goal-oriented.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is crucial.
  • Familiarity with standard computer systems and CRM software is advantageous.
  • Experience in cold calling and generating new business leads is beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required.


The compensation for this role includes a base salary of $80,000, with eligibility for commissions based on performance. Annual commission earnings can range significantly, with many employees typically earning between $10,000 to $20,000 in commissions during their first year.
